The Furman AR-15 II, 15A 120V Voltage Regulator is ideal for protecting video, audio, computer and other sensitive electronics from voltage brownouts, spikes and sags. Digital equipment is extremely sensitive to these irregularities, which can cause malfunction and in certain cases permanant damage.
The AR-15II has a front panel LED voltage meter and AC outlet as well as 8 rear panel outlets and a BNC connector to power a gooseneck lamp. Furman employs a low-noise autoformer to effect quiet operation as well as SMP surge suppression, Extreme Voltage Shutdown, in case of accidental high-voltage connection and Linear Filtering Technology (LiFt) to eliminate noise and prevent ground contamination due to spikes in voltage.
