To make things easier, we offer a range of add on services for your event.  We can deliver, setup, operate, breakdown, and collect the equipment for a total package solution, or you can pick and choose the services you require.  All labor is carried out by our experienced, professional AV staff

  

Delivery

Delivery

MEGA can deliver rental items to your location for convenience and time saving. We have several delivery & collection options available based on your flexibility to receive your order. For scheduling, requests must be made at least seven days in advance of your event date. Please check with your local office to confirm delivery & collection is available on your required dates.


We also do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, but offer no guarantee that delivery staff will be available at short notice.


A $100.00 minimum rental value is required to qualify for delivery & collection.

Flexible Economy Delivery

Flexible Economy Delivery

For the cheapest option, choose our Flexible Economy Delivery service. Great if you have flexibility with the day and time in which delivery & collection may occur.


By selecting this option, you allow us to select the day and time for dropoff and pickup. This may be up to two days prior/after your event respectively, so make sure your event location has the flexibility to accommodate this. There are no additional rental charges for extra days caused by our delivery schedule, but you are still responsible for any theft or damage to the equipment from delivery until pickup.


A text message and email will be sent to you 48-72 hours prior to the intended day of delivery & collection and a 2-4 hour timeframe will be provided. If you are unable to accommodate this window, you can either upgrade to Standard Delivery or Express Delivery service, or we can refund the delivery & collection fees so you can pick the items up at our location. If you choose to cancel your rental order, it will be subject to our cancellation terms of our rental policies.

Standard Delivery

Standard Delivery

If you require delivery & collection to occur on a specific day, but have flexibility with the times, you should choose this service.


By selecting Standard Delivery, your rental order is automatically scheduled for delivery & collection on the scheduled start and end date of your order, unless specified otherwise. A 2-4 hour timeframe in which delivery & collection may occur will be provided. Note that the earliest guaranteed delivery time is 12 noon (depending on your distance from our location). Early delivery is not available using the standard option.

Priority Delivery

Priority Delivery

If you require your delivery & collection to happen within a strict time frame, select our Priority Delivery service. This is for customers who have a limited window in which delivery & collection can occur. An example of this would be a wedding, starting at 5:00pm, with no vendor access to the venue prior to 3:00pm.


By selecting Priority Delivery, your rental order is scheduled for delivery & collection at the dates and times that you specify. Contact the local office prior to placing your order to ensure we can meet your requirements.

Equipment Setup & Breakdown Labor

Most of our equipment is easy to setup and come with instructions and color coded connectors enabling anyone to setup the gear, however we understand that some customers don't have the time, or would rather focus on other aspects of their event. MEGA can make sure your equipment is setup and operating correctly and any potential safety issues -- such as taping down wires to avoid trip hazards -- are taken care of.


Putting equipment away at the end of your event can be even more of a time suck, so we can take care of breakdown (strike) of the equipment also. We will pack everything correctly, wrap all the cables, discard any tape, and put everything back to how it was prior to the event.


For most simple rentals it takes around 30 minutes to an hour to setup, and 30 minutes to breakdown. If you have a number of items or long cable runs, more time may be required. Rates begin at $30 per half-hour. For more information, and to book this service, please click here.


We bill in minimum 30 minute increments, so a minimum total of two 30 minute periods will be billed for basic setup. If services go beyond what is contracted, your card on file will be charged $30 per additional half-hour.

On-Site AV Tech Labor

On-Site AV Tech Labor

If you require peace of mind and your event needs to happen flawlessly, considering hiring an On-Site Audio Visual Tech to assist in the operation of rented gear. The tech will run our equipment and resolve any unforeseen problems that may occur.


For simple events, we recommend having an AV Tech on-site 30 minutes before the start of the event. For performers, bands, or DJ's, your AV Tech will need to be ready 1-2 hours before the show begins to conduct any sound checks and make adjustments.


Rates begin at $90 per hour for an On-Site AV Tech, billed in 30 minute increments with a 2 hour minimum.


NOTE: We cannot troubleshoot or operate any audio, visual, or lighting equipment that isn't ours. On-Site AV Techs are not DJ's; they can push play on a playlist of background music, but cannot program a night, select songs, or make announcements to your guests.
